Accessible Materials Made Right
Applications are now being accepted for upcoming Accessible Materials Made Right workshops.
Accessible Materials Made Right is designed for Intermediate School District personnel responsible for providing training on the creation and remediation of accessible materials on publicly facing websites. The workshop helps answer questions and equip participants with the skills and understanding needed to train others to create accessible materials.
Topics to be covered include:
- Why accessibility matters
- Principles and components of accessibility
- Creating accessible material from the start
The workshops alternate between instruction, hands-on practice, and group discussion. Upon completion, participants should feel more confident in their ability to train others to create basic-level accessible:
- Word documents
- PowerPoint presentations
Although we are specifically targeting ISD teams, local district teams are encouraged to apply and will be accepted based on available space. For more information, please see the attached flyer and information guide.
Questions can be directed to [email protected].
