Great Lakes Regional UDL Summit

October 23-24, 2017

Macomb ISD, in partnership with Oakland Schools and the UDL-IRN is pleased to announce the first annual Great Lakes Regional UDL Summit. This event brings the excitement of the IRN Summit to Michigan. This 2 day event features 3 UDL national speakers, and focuses on teacher implementation, support for UDL coaches and insights into district implementation for the administrator.

Day 1 includes presentations by National Speakers Joni Degner,  Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation, IN;  Stephanie Craig, University of Kansas; Bill McGrath, Montgomery County Public Schools, MD and breakout/panel sessions from local practitioners, coaches and administrators implementing the UDL framework in Michigan. Day 2 is all about planning UDL implementation for your school/district. Bring your UDL team and, with the support of the UDL-IRN and our national team, develop/refine your UDL implementation plan.

Part of our mission for this regional event is to build our Michigan UDL community. Come and network with other Michigan educators who are passionate about UDL. We want to add your voice to the choir as grow our Michigan UDL network.
