What is Accessible Materials Made Right?
Accessible Materials Made Right is a regional two-day workshop for Intermediate School Districts (ISDs) and local districts in Michigan that is intended to help answer questions and equip participants with the skills and understanding needed to begin creating accessible materials. Topics include:
- Why accessibility matters
- Principles and components of accessibility
- Creating accessible material from the start
The workshop alternates between lecture and hands-on practice. Upon completion, everyone will have had hands-on practice creating basic-level accessible:
- Word documents
- PowerPoint presentations
Dates and Locations for Fall 2017
- September 20-21 (Marquette)
- October 12-13 (Lincoln Park)
- October 19-20 (Ann Arbor)
- November 2-3 (Alpena)
