The 2026 Michigan Math and Data Science Summit is a pair of events sponsored by UM-Flint and the Genesee Intermediate School District with the aim of furthering the use of data science in the Michigan K-12 curriculum.

Data Science Day (left) is an opportunity for school districts to bring their students to an event highlighting the ways that data science and mathematics can be used in careers. The Michigan Math & Data Science Leadership Conference (right) brings together educators, policy makers, industry, and more, to find better ways for our systems to support the modern needs of our students.
